This is a beautiful changing table! I'm so glad my husband found it, now mind you the color is a bit darker than in the picture, it's more of a dark wood than a dark sand color like the picture. But it matched our little girl's crib wonderfully. I don't know what the individual talking about a bad smell was referring to, maybe they are just opposed to the smell of wood? But to the 7 month pregnant woman with heightened smell sensitivity there was nothing wrong with the "smell" of this changing table. I also like that someone mentioned the bookshelf idea, even without taking the top off of the changing table off I agree it can be used for more than just a changing table when your diaper days are over. So it's multi-functional, gorgeous, sturdy, and fits our needs wondefully. It also arrived in great condition, here's to hoping the dresser from the same company is just as nice!

this is a very nice changing table. very sturdy. even stands up to a toddler climbing up the shelves like a ladder to get to the top. the only drawback i noticed was the edge up top hits their head when they wiggle while your changing them, and they fuss. but overall a great changing table

Everything about this changing table works, especially the fact that it could be used as a bookcase once our baby grows older. The only aspect of this product that left much to be desired is the backing, which is a cheap cardboard type of material. I would have appreciated plywood. We will be putting on some plywood ourselves in order to upgrade this product. Otherwise, it is easy to put together as the instructions are simple and easy to follow. It's functionality is good. We are satisfied with the product.
